Blika acquires German company audimex, increases sales, number of offices, and growth

30 March, 2022

The Swedish platform and compliance company Blika makes its first acquisition in Europe, the software company audimex, immediately after the investment company Main Capital becomes the new principal owner. Blika wants to increase growth in Europe rapidly. This acquisition provides two new offices in Germany and the possibility to reach both Austria and Switzerland customers via audimex’s customers.

– Blika is known for its SaaS platform for legal entity and tax management, while audimex provides software for auditing and compliance management. Together, we can offer a comprehensive service package to the headquarters of multinational companies in both the Nordic market, Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, says Peter Öhling Ekenstierna, CEO of Blika.

Blika already has a large customer base of global companies and Fortune 500 companies in Europe, and audimex has over 200 globally active customers, most of them with headquarters in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. The acquisition of audimex is the first step in strategically strengthening Blika’s international position and expanding our products with related functions within governance, risk management, and compliance.

– We are pleased to enter the next phase of creating growth together with Main Capital and audimex. Both Blika’s platform and audimex’s service packages are internationally scalable and benefit companies in the DACH region. With the support from Main, we aim to continue accelerating growth, starting in Germany. The goal is to increase sales several times over the next few years. Through a broadened product range via services from audimex, we can also add real value to our existing customers, says Peter Öhling Ekenstierna, CEO of Blika.
